A travel agency with a social focus
This 26 year old young man was one of the more than 200 micro entrepreneurs who benefitted from the Smartrip supported program, Balloon Chile. Some years ago he had an accident, but it did not prevent him from following his passion. Here is his story.
This is the fifth edition of this program will benefit 160 micro entrepreneurs from Cunco and Melipeuco, from the 17th of October through the 22nd of November 2015.
18 artisans, beneficiaries of the Artesanía Local social project and the hotels Alto Atacama, Cumbres San Pedro, Noi Casa Atacama and Tierra Atacama came together to come to commercial agreements between and incorporate the artisans in the tourism value chain.
Last week Smatrip founder, Juan Luis Crespo travelled to the area together with the TKO team to showcase the advances of the Artesanía Local program.

Juana Quintuman (37 years) is one of the entrepreneurs supported by the Smartrip Foundation. She rescues the ancient technique of Mapuche weaving and won first place in the competition conducted by the Foundation in 2012 in Huilo Huilo.
The projects and businesses of 30 Huilo Huilo people were positively changed in record timeand success.
