This 26 year old young man was one of the more than 200 micro entrepreneurs who benefitted from the Smartrip supported program, Balloon Chile. Some years ago he had an accident, but it did not prevent him from following his passion. Here is his story.
The objective of the fundraising is to bring these artisans closer to fulfilling their dreams and to help them continue to rescue the local culture and identity through their work.
This is the fifth edition of this program will benefit 160 micro entrepreneurs from Cunco and Melipeuco, from the 17th of October through the 22nd of November 2015.
18 artisans, beneficiaries of the Artesanía Local social project and the hotels Alto Atacama, Cumbres San Pedro, Noi Casa Atacama and Tierra Atacama came together to come to commercial agreements between and incorporate the artisans in the tourism value chain.
